英文面試問題的形式

　　英語中的問題一般分為兩種形式：close-ended questions 和 open-ended questions

英文面試問題的形式

　　前者只需要用一、兩個詞作答，而后者則需要進一步的解釋和說明。一般來說面試當中，為了避免談話陷入沉悶單調的氣氛當中，考官一般是要將這兩種問題有機地結合起來。考生要準確把握對方所問問題的性質，給予其想要的回答，從而避免了對于只需要簡短回答的問題啰嗦個沒完，對于需要進一步闡釋的問題卻回答得不夠。兩種情況都會給考官留下不好的印象。

　　一般來說兩種問題的引導詞有比較明顯的不同，請大家注意掌握：

　　Close-ended Open-ended Both

　　Are…?

　　Do…?

　　Who…?

　　When…?

　　Where…?

　　Which…· How…?

　　Why…?

　　In what way…?

　　Tell me about… What…?

　　【注意】

　　· 對于open-ended questions,在組織答案時，最好先用一句話或者一個短語將你要說的.主要意思總結一下，這樣不僅可以再拖延一點時間，而且也有助于對方聽清楚你的答案，從而會比較容易留下思路清晰的好印象。

　　e.g. Interviewer: Why do you want to study for MBA?

　　Candidate: That’s a rather difficult question. There are two main reasons, I suppose.

　　· 如果考官對你的回答不甚滿意，你也許會聽到這樣的問題：

　　I’d like to know some more about…

　　Could you tell me a bit more bout…?

　　Sorry to press you, but could you tell me…?

　　Sorry, I don’t quite understand, could you tell me …?

　　I didn’t quite follow what you said about…

　　Meaning?

　　For example?

　　Then you?

　　Therefore?

　　Which means?

　　So then?

　　例如：

　　A: How did you happen to move here?

　　B: I like the climate better.

　　A: Better than…

　　B: Better than the polluted air of the city.

　　A: Which means…

　　B: Which means I can expect better overall health for myself.

　　沒聽懂對方在說什么怎么辦?

　　千萬不要往過蒙!!!

　　你可以：

　　承認自己不知道答案：

　　e.g. I’ sorry. I don’t understand.

　　Sorry. I don’t follow.

　　或者：

　　請對方重復問題：

　　e.g. I didn’t catch that. Would you mind repeating it?

　　Could you repeat the question, please?

　　再或者：

　　請對方為你澄清你沒有聽清楚的個別詞：

　　e.g. Sorry. I don’t know what you mean by ‘Union Jack’

　　Would you mind explaining ‘Union Jack’?
