    禮儀的英語作文1

China has a long history and an excellent culture which is one of the most extensive and profound cultures in the world. Table manner is an important part of the Chinese culture. There is an old saying goes, “Bread is the stall of life”. In fact, dining is not only to meet the

basicphysiological needs, but also key stepof social contact to close the relationship between people. Under different period and different social backgrounds, table manners are different. There are many reasons behind the difference.

According to literature records, eating etiquette has formed a set of quite perfect system in Zhou dynasty. In the Qin and Han Dynasties,

people in the dining, receiving guests and other daily activities, all sat on ground. It is not sit cross-legged but knees to the ground and soles offeet face up. You should keep the upper body upright, sit on your heels. In formal situation, the order of sat should be followed.

    禮儀的英語作文2

Etiquette to society is what apparel is to the individual. Without apparel men would go in shameful nudity which would surely lead to the corruption of morals; and without etiquette society would be in a pitiable state and the necessary intercourse between its members would be interfered with by needless offences and troubles.

If society were a train, the etiquette would be the rails along which only the train could rumble forth; if society were a state coach, the etiquette would be the wheels and axis, on which only the coach could roll forward. The lack of proprieties would make the most intimate friends turn to be the most decided enemies and the friendly or allied countries declare war against each other. We can find many examples in the history of mankind. Therefore I advise you to stand on ceremony before anyone else and to take pains not to do anything against etiquette lest you give offences or make enemies.

    禮儀的英語作文3

Good manners are necessary because one is judged by his manners. One’s manners not only show what kind of education he has received and what his social position is, but they also tend to show what his nature is.

Good manners means good behaviour in social coMMunication. A person with good manners is always agreeable companion, because he is always thinking of others and respect others. He will not push through a crowd, but wait quietly for his turn to advance. Good manners are not the exceptionally great deeds but they can tell that the person who possesses them is a man of highest standards.

To learn good manners, one must first of all bear in mind that they arise from one’s daily behaviour—the way he responds to others and the manner he behaves in front of people. To be a man of good manners, he must be genuinely polite to others and show respect for others. In short, politeness costs nothing and gains everything.

The Olympics are just around the corner. Today I want to talk about good manners and courtesy.

We Chinese have always been respected and highly praised for good manners and courtesy, which have, as well, become precious traditions of our people. In a couple of weeks beyond, a large number of foreign friends will come to China to join us in enjoying the Olympics. Before foreign guests, we should have an easy manner and behave politely and warm-heartedly. In public places, such ugly behaviors as uproar, pushing or squeezing together, spitting and so on should be determinedly forbidden. In a sense, each of us will not simply stand for ourselves but stand for China. Therefore, boys and girls, let’s do it well right now and the eyes of the world are to on us!

China is a country of good manners. Do you know some table manners? 't talk loudly at mealtimes. 't play with your phone while eating. 't put your arms on the table. 't play with your food. 't point your chopsticks at other people or stick them in your food. 't hit the empty bowl. There are many special table manners in China, and table manners vary from country to country. Some of them are very strange, such as making noises when eating, which means the food is delicious. Also, you can't eat bread and fruit directly. You must cut them up with a knife and eat them. Even without any tools, you must eat with your hands. While these table manners are strange, they represent different cultures and should be respected.
