1、學校要建個休息室給不住學校的學生用，可以放書，有locker，放一些bus schedule。
男生不同意一：住學校的同學也需要，因為宿舍很遠。圖書館已經有locker，不需要再建。二：沒必要專門為放bus schedule建休息室，網上電話都可以查。
2、男士的論文因為打印機壞了而沒有打印The man’s problem is he didn't get a clear print of his paper due to the breakdown of the printing machine.
There are two possible solutions.
First, he could print another copy back at dorm because he saved this file in the computer, but he would miss to attend a discussion.
Second, he could ask for an extension, but he’s concerned that the professor would think he’s not serious about the paper.

One is their sensitive beaks. The other is special feet with web connecting toes. The professor uses the exampleof storks to show how these two features help wading birds acquire food inmuddy places.
First, the beaks of storks are long andhave sensors. With these sensors, storks can sweep their beaks mud and quicklysense if an object is a food source or not. This allows them to feed themselvesefficiently.
Second, wading birds’ feet can prevent themselves from sinking themud. For example, storks have long and big toes, which spread the bird’s weight over the surface. These toes can help the birds keep their balance while they are walking on a muddy surface.
5、一個女生Jessica在校報上寫倡議信，建議學校的radio station應該 多放音樂，少播announcements, 以 吸引更多學生聽。
【學生態度】：男生反對此倡議。
理由1：有很多commercial radio stations播放music, 有 的電臺甚至whole day都play music。想聽音樂的學生可 以去聽那些電臺的節目。學生都有自己喜歡的音樂臺，不 會因為學校的radio stations多放音樂，就不去聽他們愛 聽的音樂臺的節目了。
理由2：通過收聽學校的announcements, 學生們可以隨時了解學校的最新信息。
6、Advocacy and direct service are two ways non-profit organizations make a contribution to the society.倡導和直接服務兩方面的非營利組織對社會做出的貢獻。
Example 1: Advocacy means the organizations convince and motivate people to contribute, like they put an ad on newspapers and TV to call on people to help build the playground
Example 2: Direct service means the organizations contribute directly, for example they collect money and design all by themselves instead of asking for help from others
