　　1. 表示累加或連續(xù)的并列連詞

　　表示累加或連續(xù)的并列連詞主要有and, both…and, not only…but also等。如：

　　Close the door of fear behind you, and you will see the door of faith open before you. 關上你身后的恐懼之門，你將會看見信念之門在你前面打開。

　　It was not until I came here that I realized this place was famous for not only its beauty but also its weather. 直到我來到這里，我才意識到這個地方之所以出名不僅是因為它的漂亮還因為它的天氣。

　　特別要注意“祈使句+and / or+陳述句”這類句式。如：

　　Stand over there and then you'll be able to see it better. 站到那兒去，你就能看得更清楚了。
