自行車作為一種短距離出行工具，也有助于城市“慢交通”系統(tǒng)的搭建。搭配步行或者公交車、地鐵等交通方式，共享單車可用作換乘接駁，這不僅節(jié)省了市民的出行成本，還對城市的低碳、綠色和可持續(xù)發(fā)展有不可忽視的推動作用。
共享單車的存在是很有必要的，目前成都已有超過10萬輛共享單車，但單車的運營、停放、維護等一系列問題也接踵而至。

同時，共享單車也存在亂停亂放的現(xiàn)象。一些單車使用者缺乏責任心，在城市車站、軌道交通站點等交通集散地，以及學校、醫(yī)院、商場等人員流動性強、密集度高的場所周邊區(qū)域非停車區(qū)域停放單車，對公共資源進行非法占用，反而新增了城市交通擁堵。 因此，共享單車的興起是有利有弊的，促進共享單車的良性發(fā)展，不僅要依靠市民公共道德意識的提高，更離不開相關(guān)部門的制度規(guī)范。對于亂停亂放、損壞共享單車的行為，要和使用者的個人信用掛鉤，鼓勵企業(yè)建立個人信用體系和獎懲制度勢在必行。
