　　Good morning， everyone! I am glad to be here for this interview. First， let me introduce myself to you. My name is zhang tianai.

　　I was born on April 23，1993. I am a local person.I am graduating from xx Normal University this June. I major in Chinese literature.

　　I hope I could get the opportunity to finish my postgraduate courses in xxx University which I have desired for a long time.

　　I have the confidence because I have such ability! I am a girl who is fervent， outgoing and creative. At the same time， I think I am quick in mind and careful in everything.

　　I am looking forward to my postgraduate studies and life. I will soon prove that your decision of choosing me is the wisest. Thank you for giving me such a valuable opportunity!

　　Reasons for taking postgraduate exams：

　　First of all，I love my major. Chinese literature is the symbol of the start of Chinese literary modernization. It plays an important part in modernization of our citizens‘ thoughts.

　　What’s more，modern literature is very close to our daily life and it can deeply reflect the styles and features of our society. I am fascinated by the great masters‘ refreshing or warm or profound styles as well.

　　But I am not easily satisfied with such superficial knowledge. I hope I could have a better understanding in modern literature by studying further. This is a very important reason for me to take the postgraduate exams.

　　Next，I love the feeling in the university. It is full of youthful spirit. And I am deeply attracted by the scholarly atmosphere. And the most important， it‘s my great honor to open my ears to your teaching.

　　Finally， I want to talk about a very practical problem. That is my dream of becoming a teacher in the university.

　　I want to realize my dream and make myself to be a well-qualified person. I think the postgraduate studies can enrich my knowledge and make me competent in my future job.

　　一、開場白，一般就是一個簡單的問候和寒暄，如：Good morning，dear distinguished teachers! I am very glad to be here for this interview.其中要特別注意要與面試老師打招呼。

　　二、關于姓名，畢業院校，所學專業部分不是自我介紹的重點，同學們在講這部分的時間基本就是面試老師們瀏覽個人簡歷的時間，這部分按部就班介紹就可以了。參考表達：I am Li Ming. My English name is Jacky Lee. You can call me that if you’d like to. I am majored in Electronic Science and Technology, I will graduate from Xidian University in this coming July.

　　三、考研原因。這個問題幾乎是每個導師都會關心的問題，因此最好把這個問題就放在自我介紹里面說了。這部分的內容我們務必要讓考官感到我們選擇這個專業是經過深思熟慮的，是一個理性的選擇而不是一時沖動。通常我們可以從以下三個方面來回答。

　　興趣，即強調對所報考的專業懷有極大的興趣。如果本科就讀的專業與報考的專業一致，則可以說明想繼續深造的愿望。如果不一致，則要說明報考專業對你的吸引力優勢，即強調研究生相對于本科生在知識、學術方面的優勢，如：知識面更廣，學術更專業，眼界更廣闊等。

　　益處，即強調考研對你的未來的積極影響，對于那些在職考生或有工作經驗的考生來說，考官樂于知道他們為什么(放棄工作而)重新學習。考生可以直言在工作發現某些知識或技能很重要，希望能通過學習在這些方面進行提高 (In my work, I found … is rather important. I always believe that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. So I choose to go back to school and improve myself。)。

　　四、自我規劃。可以在自我介紹中展現自己對未來的規劃，其目的在于向老師們展示自己對時間、學習、人生有一定計劃性和掌控能力。參考回答：I plan to concentrate on study and research in this field in my graduate time. And I hope I can form a systematic view of ... and make a solid foundation for future profession after three years study here. After graduation. I would like to work as a .... I hope that in five years after graduation, I can....

　　五、表達強烈意愿。請務必表達出對來目標院校就讀的強烈意愿。并給出一個明確的結束的信號。例如：I would be very honored if you could grant me the opportunity to study in this university. That’s all about my self introduction. Thank you!
