　　中華人民共和國

　　從1949年開始，中華人民共和國正式定每年6月1日為國際兒童節。學校一般會為此組織相關的集體活動，并要求學生正式著裝（普及校服前為白襯衣藍線褲）。香港現時雖屬共和國一部份，但民間在約定俗成下，香港兒童節的日期仍保留與中華民國一致的4月4日。民間慶祝的方式多以送玩具禮物給小朋友，或陪小孩出外吃大餐或游玩。
