您好!
我叫關淼，是北京航空航天大學的博士后，期望在出流動站之后到廣西工作。
在博士畢業之時，我曾困惑于職業的選擇，身邊的親朋好友都認為留校做老師或是在科學院所工作都是比較理想的，但我卻期望能找到一個能發揮自身優勢的工作，于是選擇博士后作為過渡，再認真思考自己未來的道路應該如何走。
離開北京的決定是經過深思熟慮的。從哈爾濱考學到北京，并獲得博士學學位，博士期間成了家，在北京也購買房子，再有一份北京的穩定工作，這是無數外省學子無法完成的夢想，但這些都不是我所追求的。崇高的理想，生活的期望，時代的召喚，歷史的機遇，未來的向往，將這些因素結合起來，我發現自己需要一個更廣闊的舞臺。首都、沿海還是中部，生活條件及待遇都不是決定自己能否發揮作用的最重要因素，關鍵要看個人的發展環境，因此，我義無反顧的做出了選擇――西部。
雖然在北京找一份待遇好，又清閑的工作并不是難事，但我更希望到需要我的地方去工作。在博士論文后面的致謝中我曾感謝妻子、父母多年以來對我學業的支持，他們一直默默的付出，迄今為止我沒有給予任何回報，當我對他們說出自己投身西部的想法時，出乎意料的家里所有人都贊同我的決定，他們的支持給予了我信心和希望。
經過查詢西部各省的情況，我選擇了廣西，有以下幾個原因：第一，2010年1月1日，中國-東盟自由貿易區全面啟動，帶給廣西國際性的歷史機遇;第二：2009年12月7日，國務院頒布實施了《國務院關于進一步促進廣西經濟社會發展的若干意見》，使北部灣區域經濟建設實現里程碑式的跨越;第三：廣西壯族自治區黨委常委、組織部部長陳向群表示，目前，廣西干部隊伍中年輕干部的數量還遠遠不能滿足2011年換屆需求，2010年將把人才的引進開發作為工作重點，努力在人才聚集上取得實質性進展;第四：我的博士導師曾是北京航空航天大學廣西北海學院的院長，他曾對我說廣西是個好地方，如果想做事業，可以選擇廣西。
