I simply had to speak better, singbetter, act better, and write better than anyone else. Determined, I joinedcompetitions, played in concerts, and wrote essays that were read in class. WhenTim transferred to the A.P. class, so did I. I threw myself into classdiscussions, attempting to dazzle him with my intelligence and intrepidity.Making friends with his friends, I dogged his steps.
The next summer Tim moved away. I never heard from him again. But thetransformation in me had taken place. Now I was involved for the simple pleasureof being involved. Challenging people surrounded me. Biff taught me to love.Dave taught me to laugh. Ramez taught me to break my limits. Alit gave meconfidence. Whenever I was in danger of reverting to a wallflower, one of my newfriends would drag me into another club or activity.

The reason why I want to go Singapore is I like to learn some differentculture and I can meet a lot people from all around the world, that way I canmake more friends. 我是江蘇省南京市XX中學(xué)20XZX年高中畢業(yè)生，由于未被理想大學(xué)錄取，我一直在XX中學(xué)復(fù)讀。自20xx年起，我受同學(xué)的影響，產(chǎn)生了出國留學(xué)的`念頭，于是我通過上網(wǎng)了解到去新西蘭留學(xué)有比較多的優(yōu)勢(shì)。

因?yàn)槲沂桥⒆樱瑥男【拖矚g幼兒教育。且現(xiàn)代中國的家長對(duì)小孩的教育要求比較高，我如果能到新西蘭學(xué)習(xí)幼兒教育專業(yè)課程，學(xué)成回國后一定能在幼兒教育事業(yè)上有作為。所以，我決心到新西蘭留學(xué)，打算先用半年的時(shí)間到語言學(xué)院專修英語，過好語言關(guān)，再進(jìn)行幼兒教育專業(yè)課程學(xué)習(xí)。我相信我已經(jīng)過三年高中課程的學(xué)習(xí)，又經(jīng)過一年的復(fù)讀，在學(xué)習(xí)能力和知識(shí)水平上有了一定的基礎(chǔ)。同時(shí)我父母都有固定的工作和較豐厚的收入，在留學(xué)經(jīng)費(fèi)上也會(huì)得到父母的全力支持。
因此，我一定能較好地完成留學(xué)課程。學(xué)成回國后，我一定能實(shí)現(xiàn)我從事幼兒教育的愿望，并能在幼兒教育事業(yè)上實(shí)現(xiàn)我的人生價(jià)值。
