1.We face the arduous daysthat lie before us in the warm courage of national unity; with the clearconsciousness of seeking old and precious moral values; with the cleansatisfaction that comes from the stern performance of duty by old and youngalike. We aim at the assurance of a rounded， a permanent national life.
讓我們正視面前的嚴峻歲月，懷著全國給我們帶來的熱情和勇氣，懷著尋求傳統(tǒng)的、珍貴的道德觀念的明確意識，懷著老老少少都能通過格盡職守而得到的問心無愧的滿足。我們的目標是要保證國民生活的圓滿和長治久安。
2.The world can be changedby man's endeavor， and that this endeavor can lead to something new and better.No man can sever the bonds that unite him to his society simply by avertinghis eyes . He must ever be receptive and sensitive to the new ; and have sufficientcourage and skill to novel facts and to deal with them .
