　　圣誕老人的由來

　　圣誕老人原來的名字叫做尼古拉，在第四世紀的時候，出生在小亞細亞巴大拉城，家庭富有，父母親是非常熱心的天主教友，不幸他的父母早逝。尼古拉長大以后，便把豐富的財產，全部捐送給貧苦可憐的人，自己則出家修道，獻身教會，終生為社會服務。尼古拉后來作了神父，而且還升為主教。他一生當中，做了很多慈善的工作，他最喜歡在暗中幫助窮人，圣誕老人是他后來的別號，這個名字是出自他暗中送錢，幫助三個女孩子的故事。
