This is to recommend Miss xxx, an undergraduate from Beijing Institute of Technology, for acceptance into your graduate program.
I have been acquainted with Miss x since she took the course that I offered, Electric Power and Electronic Technology, and therefore I had many opportunities to observe her performance in her undergraduate years. First of all, I think Miss x is a diligent girl, you know it is hard for a girl majoring in automation , because there are many courses related engineering science, especially she should have an aptitude for abstract thinking. However, she did quite well at this aspect, not only because she is intelligent, most importantly, for her diligence, for many times, I saw her still sat in classroom after all others left, reciting and thinking. Her endeavor turned out to be fruitful, in the final exam, she got the highest score 93(out of 100) in her grade. What’s more, during the four year study here, her overall GPA is 83 (100 point scale), ranks top three among the 360 students, excelling most of her fellow students in her studies.
Apart from her diligence, she is an independent and energetic girl who took part in many campus activities enthusiastically. x is a popular person of our university for her exquisite clarinet performance. I also have a lot of chances to participate in activities aiming to enrich students' extracurricular life, surprisingly, I found x took part in most of the activities and did a nice job. Upon graduation, she joined the leading international company in China, such as Siemens (China) Co.Ltd and UID center for an internship. I am very delighted to learn that she had applied what she had learned in class during her internship. For most students in China, they have rare chances to practice theories they learned in class into practice, however, Miss x tried her best to seek opportunities to use what she learned. Now, Miss x has set her sight on still more advanced studies in your university.I understand her ambition and wish to give her all my support. Hence I am writing this letter.
