英語談判薪水的秘訣

　　如果你理想中的公司提供一個(gè)非常好的職位給你，你一定會(huì)立刻接受這份工作。但如果不是呢!有很多上司都會(huì)期待有前途的員工跟他們談薪資及福利的問題，更甚至希望以每月有限的供給能創(chuàng)造長(zhǎng)期的利潤(rùn)。這里有一些方法幫助你用英語與你的上司來談薪資問題。

　　If you're offered a much-desired position at the company of your dreams, it may be tempting1to agree to the offer right away. But don't! Many managers expect perspective employees tonegotiate2 their package, and even negotiating3 a small amount per month can offer big returns in the long run. Here are some tips for negotiating your salary in English.

　　Thank you for your offer.

　　不論你的.決定及薪資的福利是什么，你一定要給予感謝。你也許也想要表達(dá)一些像是：「I appreciate your consideration」及「I am honored that you have selected me.」

　　Thank you for your offer.

　　No matter what your decision and what the package, make sure you give your thanks. You may also want to offer phrases such as, "I appreciate your consideration" and "I am honored that you have selected me."

　　一旦你展現(xiàn)對(duì)這份工作很感興趣及很滿意你的薪水，那你就得經(jīng)常感到談?wù)摴灸芙o你什么是困難的，所以最好就是在開始時(shí)就要做好準(zhǔn)備。不要這樣說：「OK」，當(dāng)你聽到你的薪資時(shí)，換個(gè)方式說：「Hmmm...」這可以讓招聘經(jīng)理知道你對(duì)于薪資不是那么滿意，并且可以立刻與他開始談?wù)撔劫Y問題。

　　It's often difficult to negotiate an offer once you've shown extreme interest in the job and satisfaction in the salary, so it's best to start at the beginning. 　　Give a reason for your higher expectations. Maybe it's based on your current salary, other job offers or statistics6 you've recently read about your field. Finish up the sentence with, "I had something a little higher in mind" or "I was expecting something within the 5 to 7,000 range."

　　Hiring managers have been known to put the squeeze on, especially if they really want you, but don't rush into decisions. Request at least several days to think through the decision. You can add, "I'm very interested in your company, but this will give me some time to make a more informed decision."

　　當(dāng)現(xiàn)在是做最后決定的時(shí)候，這就是一個(gè)樂于以友善的方式接受這個(gè)公司所給予你的薪資及福利。如果你已經(jīng)有一些頭緒了，你就可以這樣說：「I'd like to formally accept your offer.」。相反的，如果你不想要接受這份工作，你可以這樣說：「After much consideration, I'm afraid I won't be able to accept your offer.」，要確定你給予答案并且要有禮貌!

　　When it comes down to the final decision, this is a fun and friendly way to accept an offer. If you had something more formal in mind, say "I'd like to formally accept your offer." If, on the other hand, you don't want the job, say, "After much consideration, I'm afraid I won't be able to accept your offer." Be sure to always give an answer, and to always be polite!
