一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)與要求
1、知識(shí)與能力目標(biāo)
describing things and places. 重點(diǎn)學(xué)習(xí)一些形容詞，如wide, old, high, new, round.學(xué)習(xí)用這些形容詞來(lái)描述一些景物或場(chǎng)景如描述river thames, big ben, london eye等。
2、情感態(tài)度目標(biāo)
通過(guò)讓學(xué)生使用形容詞描述國(guó)外景物，學(xué)生不僅學(xué)習(xí)了如何使用形容詞，更開(kāi)闊了眼界，增長(zhǎng)了知識(shí)。同時(shí)通過(guò)介紹英國(guó)重要景點(diǎn)如river thames, big ben, london eye等，讓同學(xué)們對(duì)國(guó)外景物形成一個(gè)初步的認(rèn)識(shí)，調(diào)動(dòng)同學(xué)們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和熱情，達(dá)到良好的學(xué)習(xí)效果。

1、重點(diǎn)單詞：wide, old, high, new, round
2、重點(diǎn)句型：this river is very wide. and it’s very long.

3、難 點(diǎn)：有關(guān)英國(guó)重要景點(diǎn)如river thames, big ben, london eye等知識(shí)的了解。
三、課前準(zhǔn)備
1、課本及活動(dòng)手冊(cè)。
2、一些與形容詞相關(guān)(如：電視塔、長(zhǎng)城)的圖片及實(shí)物(如：新舊玩具、衣服)。
3、一些有關(guān)英國(guó)倫敦的資料和地圖。
4、一個(gè)導(dǎo)游用的小喇叭，一頂遮陽(yáng)帽
5、有關(guān)英國(guó)重要景點(diǎn)的錄像展示課件。
6、錄音機(jī)及配套的磁帶。
四、教學(xué)過(guò)程 (中英文相結(jié)合)
step 1 warm up
1、教師熱情地和學(xué)生打招呼，并帶領(lǐng)全班做trp活動(dòng)“say as i do, not as i say”。例如：教師說(shuō)：“i’m tall.”同時(shí)俯身用手比著地面以上不高的位置。學(xué)生要迅速說(shuō)出：“you’re not tall. you’re short.” 2、通過(guò)一些與形容詞相關(guān)(如：電視塔、長(zhǎng)城、)的圖片及實(shí)物(如：新舊玩具、衣服)。帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生回憶相關(guān)詞語(yǔ)：big/ small, long/ short, tall/ short old/ new.
step 2 presentation and practice
老師先問(wèn)中國(guó)的首都是哪里?再來(lái)引出英國(guó)的首都。并向?qū)W生出示英國(guó)的地圖，請(qǐng)學(xué)生觀察英國(guó)和倫敦的位置關(guān)系。向?qū)W生講述有關(guān)英國(guó)重要景點(diǎn)的大概知識(shí)。
老師拿著喇叭并戴上遮陽(yáng)帽，扮成導(dǎo)游的樣子開(kāi)始講課。
good morning! today we’re going to go to london.
it’s the captial of england.請(qǐng)同學(xué)們跟隨老師看一看倫敦重要的三個(gè)景點(diǎn)。1.the frist one is river thames.(展示課間圖片)。老師問(wèn)：what can you see in the picture?學(xué)生可用i can see…句型回答。老師用肢體語(yǔ)言引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說(shuō)出this river is very wide .and it’s very long.并教授wide這個(gè)單詞。2.amy和lingling正在談?wù)摻酉聛?lái)我們要去的兩景點(diǎn)，快來(lái)聽(tīng)一聽(tīng)。聽(tīng)第一遍錄音后，學(xué)生回答出big ben /london eye 這兩個(gè)景點(diǎn)。教師使用兩個(gè)景點(diǎn)的課間講授他們的'特點(diǎn)：big ben /it’s very old clock. and it’s very tall.
london eye / it’s a big wheel. it’s very high ,round and new.同時(shí)講授old /clock/high/wheel/round 3. 打開(kāi)書(shū)聽(tīng)第二遍錄音，要求學(xué)生圈出錄音中提及的景物名稱和用于描述他們的形容詞。之后，教師把學(xué)生的回答寫(xiě)在黑板上，把景物名稱再次和相關(guān)的形容詞關(guān)聯(lián)起來(lái)。4.播放第三遍錄音，請(qǐng)同學(xué)們逐句模仿跟讀。并讓學(xué)生完成ab unit1練習(xí)。之后，老師問(wèn)“what is this house like? what is this river like? 等問(wèn)題 。提示學(xué)生用“tall ,old ,long , wide, new, round”來(lái)描述5.完成sb unit1活動(dòng)2。首先請(qǐng)學(xué)生兩人一組看圖說(shuō)話，再請(qǐng)學(xué)生聽(tīng)錄音，并對(duì)課本的這幾個(gè)重點(diǎn)句子進(jìn)行操練。6.完成sb unit1活動(dòng)3，請(qǐng)兩人一組使用剛學(xué)過(guò)的重點(diǎn)句型說(shuō)句子，描述書(shū)上圖片。

Teaching procedures
Step 1: Warm up
Free talk with the students about their holiday.
Step2: Leading
Have the students sing one or two songs they’ve learned before .Then ask”What’s your favourite song/” Explain the meaning and pronunciation of the word favourite
Step3 Presentation
(1) Put the wall map on the blackboard .Have the students observe the letters .Compare the difference between the big letters and the small letters .Play the tape several times, the students listen, point and sing.
(2) Show a set of cards about letters. Help the students read them. Play attention to correct the students’ pronunciation.
(3) Finish SB Unit 1 Activity 3 .The students sing and point the relevant pictures.
Step 4 practice
(1) Play the game Count with the letters, Show the letters with gesture and Hold up the cards of the letters.
(2) Do AB Unit 1 exercise 1
Step5: Homework
Sing the ABC Song to your family.
